RTO (Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer) is an environmentally friendly device used to treat exhaust gas. It oxidizes harmful substances in the exhaust gas into carbon dioxide and water through high-temperature combustion, thereby purifying the exhaust gas. It is mainly composed of a combustion chamber, a regenerative chamber and a switching valve, which can efficiently remove volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and recover heat, reducing operating costs.

Details

Working process of RTO:
The waste gas enters the combustion chamber and burns to produce high-temperature gas.
The high-temperature gas flows through the ceramic heat storage body, causing the ceramic body to heat up and store heat.
The waste gas that enters later flows through the heat storage body and is preheated by the heat of the ceramic body to reduce fuel consumption.
The waste gas generated by combustion is discharged after purification.
The ceramic heat storage body works in a cycle in the steps of heat storage, heat release, and cleaning.

A. Treatment principle:
RTO burns the organic matter in the waste gas at a high temperature (usually above 800℃) in the combustion chamber to oxidize it into carbon dioxide and water, thereby removing harmful substances from the waste gas.
B. Advantages
1. Heat recovery:
The heat generated by combustion is stored through the ceramic heat storage body, and then the heat is used to preheat the waste gas that enters later, thereby reducing combustion fuel consumption and improving energy efficiency.

2. High removal rate:
The three-chamber RTO can achieve a VOCs removal rate of more than 99%, and can handle various volatile organic compounds.

3. Wide application range:
Almost all exhaust gases containing organic compounds can be treated, and it can adapt to the composition and concentration fluctuations of VOC in the exhaust gas.
4. Flexible operation:
Under the appropriate exhaust gas concentration, it can achieve heat self-sustaining operation without adding auxiliary fuel, reducing operating costs.
5. Long life:
The device has a long service life and simple maintenance.

Combustion chamber:: The area where the exhaust gas is heated and burned.
Regenerator:It is composed of ceramic fillers and is used for heat storage and heat release.
Switch valve:It is used to control the exhaust gas flow to different regenerators.
